We were up a couple goals a few times and they came back and we stayed resilient and found a way to win." Added Higgins: "Kind of a sloppy game and with the weird goals it was kind of a strange game. Its nice to be on the winning side of those games and nice to score a bunch of goals — its been tough to come by recently." Roberto Luongo, who was shaky at times and even directed one of Vermettes goals over the line himself, made 29 saves for the Canucks. "Now not only are you trying to coach the Xs and Os of the strategy of the power play, but you are coaching the mindset and a fragile mindset."
